Now Hiring for: 3rd Shift (M-F 11:30pm-8:00am)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor plastic extrusion machines for thermocouple wire insulation.
  • Set up extrusion equipment, including dies, feeds, and temperature controls, to meet product specifications.
  • Inspect wire for proper dimensions, surface quality, and consistency throughout production runs.
  • Perform regular quality checks using micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, adjust machine settings, and resolve production problems as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Document production data, machine settings, and quality results accurately.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance and minor machine repairs if required.
  • Uphold company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of extrusion machine operation experience, preferably in wire or cable manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of extrusion processes, thermoplastics, and material handling.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safe machine operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently, and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical stamina and strength
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Comfortable working around machinery, heat, and noise (with proper PPE provided).

3rd Shift work week starts on Monday- Friday / Hours are 11:30PM – 8:00AM 

Paid Training will be from 7:30AM-4:00PM OR 3:30PM-12:00AM. Training will be 60 to 90 days, then transition to overnight.
