Education required:  BSc or MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biologics & Process Technology, Chemical & Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or related IChemE accredited degrees. Graduation by July 2025 to start from July/August 2025.

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Expected Start date: July/August 2025

What will you do?

As an Engineering graduate, you can expect to develop your knowledge and experience in:

  • Various types of bulk manufacturing processes (Upstream and Downstream), as well as sterile manufacturing, including tablet manufacturing, sterile manufacturing and primary manufacturing within pharmaceuticals.
  • A range of unit operations including Distillation, Crystallisation, Granulation, Compression, Fermentation, Purification (Chromatography operations, Ultra-filtration), Microfluidization, Complexation and Adsorption.
  • Identifying opportunities for safety, environmental improvements, technological advancements and continuous process improvements.
  • Troubleshooting and apply DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve & Control) principles to solve process/operational issues in a manufacturing facility.
  • New Product Introduction and Technology transfer
  • Process automation and new technologies involving data analytics and continuous manufacturing
  • Process Safety including hazard identification and risk assessments
  • Deliver business critical projects including yield and productivity improvement initiatives

  • A relevant engineering degree and strong technical skills
  • Clear enthusiasm and motivation for engineering in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and improving manufacturing process and technologies
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and growth, along with strong interpersonal skills and a positive approach
  • The ability to listen, learn, and a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives through high-quality work
