We’re seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our HR Business Partner team based in our Dallas office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a mix of strong HR operations experience with a forward-thinking, strategic mindset. 

You’ll be the primary HR resource within the Dallas office while supporting leaders and teams across the U.S. This includes leading employee relations, coaching managers and employees, driving scalable HR programs, and delivering key HR processes such as performance management, compliance, and engagement initiatives. 

The ideal candidate has: 

  • Proven success in a generalist role with associate HRBP experience 

  • Strong employee relations skills and ability to influence at varying levels 

  • A balance of tactical execution and strategic partnership 

  • Experience supporting multiple locations and navigating complex org structures

Essential Functions & Responsibilities  

  • Serve as a trusted partner to leaders by aligning department and company goals with people strategies to drive performance and engagement. 

  • Manage employee relations and address employee concerns; comfortable coaching and advising managers of varying levels  

  • Support Director, HR Business Partners with execution of broader HR strategies including recruitment strategies (in partnership with Global Recruitment), program enhancements and benefits (in partnership with Total Rewards), D&I strategy (in partnership with Inclusion), employee communications and performance management (in partnership with Learning & Organizational Development team). 

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and managers to provide support that allows the company to attract, develop and retain great talent 

  • Ensure all employee data is accurate and up to date in Workday, and maintain organized, reliable records; must be comfortable running reports, analyzing trends, and providing insights and recommendations based on data 

  • Execute daily HR transactions in Workday, including talent acquisition workflows, employee changes, and reporting 

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on policies and procedures and comfortable answering benefits questions in partnership with Benefits team.  

  • Support building and upkeep existing job descriptions for all roles  

  • Work with the Director of HR Business Partners to develop and deliver training programs that will meet the overall organizational needs  

  • Facilitate the performance management process to include mid-year, annual reviews, goal setting and performance improvement plans  

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations   

 

 

 

Qualifications  

 

Required Education and/or Experience  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field  

  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist  

  • Broad knowledge of HR functions  

  • Experience in employee relations, coaching and advising, performance management, and training and development 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels  

  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills  

  • Knowledge of federal and state specific employment laws and regulations (to include California and New York)  

  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external vendors to maximize performance, creativity and problem solving  

  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision  

  • Ability to adhere to, communicate and enforce all company policies and procedures  

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, use discretion and uphold high ethical standards  

  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment with a work style focused on collaboration, solving problems and driving results   

  • Strong attention to detail and process adherence  

  • HRIS system experience (Workday preferred) and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Planner)  

   

Preferred Relevant Experience  

  • SHRM-CP Certification preferred  

  • Experience with Workday HRIS system preferred  

 

Travel  

Some travel expected 15%, must be flexible with work and travel schedule.
