The Business Analyst must understand how business needs can be solved using the strengths of a technology or platform, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Technical experience with AEM is required, including its capabilities for enterprise content management, digital asset management, and workflow automation. The BA will work with clients, project, and technical teams to capture and document functional requirements for AEM implementations, assist testing teams and developers on requirements clarifications, and define specifications and features for AEM-based solutions.  The BA will have to work with clients, project and technical teams to capture and document functional requirements in detail and with clarity, as well as assist testing teams and developers on requirements clarifications.

Furthermore, the BA will have to define the specifications and features of a technology or platform, analyze possible enhancements, identify and define detailed product functional requirements and use cases. The BA will have to assess current capabilities and market requirements, as well as define product-related metrics and performance goals with other teams.

Role Responsibilities

• Assess the current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution, including those leveraging AEM for web content management and digital experiences.

• Gather and synthesize information specific to AEM implementations, such as content authoring, publishing workflows, and integration with other enterprise systems.

• Develop product requirements for AEM solutions based on input from stakeholders, user community, and industry standards.

• Review project deliverables for completeness and compliance with AEM best practices and established project standards.

• Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers, product specialists, and product architects to analyze information needs and functional requirements for AEM, delivering artifacts such as AEM functional requirements, specifications, use cases, and interface designs.

• Build consensus with stakeholders for AEM adoption and integration, working with cross-functional teams to create business and development documentation for AEM projects.

• Use deep expertise with business process design concepts to create and maintain high-level designs and detailed requirements for AEM configuration and enhancements.

• Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of high-quality AEM product packages, representing and participating as the product expert on global AEM implementations.

• Assume a leadership role during review meetings and subsequent status meetings for large AEM projects.

• Assess the current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather, and synthesize information.

• Understand work requests and ensure business requirements and system requirements are properly documented and approved.

• Play the part of end-user role advocate and ensure the software is designed so it addresses multiple clients in multiple geographies.

• Develop product requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis results, feedback from the user community, standards, and good practices.

• Review project deliverables for completeness and compliance with established project standards.

• Ensure all members of the project team are informed of requirement changes and proper sign-off is received.

• Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers, product specialists, and product architects to analyze information needs and functional requirements to deliver the following artifacts as needed: Product and Functional Requirements, Specifications, Use Cases, GUI, and Interface Designs.

• Build consensus with a variety of stakeholders including external resources and key departments across the organization. Work with cross-functional teams to identify a solution and create the applicable business and development documentation.

• Uses deep expertise with business process design concepts and principles to create and maintain high-level designs, and detailed requirements for configuration and core changes.

• Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of high-quality product packages. Represent and participate as the product expert on multiple global implementations.

• Performs an Internal SME role to provide accurate and useful project or issue status reports.

• Assume a leadership role during review meetings and subsequent status meetings during large projects.

Required:

• 3+ years of experience working in a software development life cycle, system integration consulting, or online software development environment, including AEM projects.

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineering, or Product Owner (or equivalent experience), with direct exposure to AEM implementations.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Knowledge and experience building technical documentation for AEM solutions.

• Very Fluent English (oral and written) C1 plus required.

• Ability to quickly add value to AEM projects and digital transformation initiatives.

• Excellent communication skills to present findings and gather information from stakeholders in AEM projects.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including authoring, editing, publishing, and managing digital assets.

• Understanding of AEM architecture, templates, components, workflows, and integrations (e.g., with Adobe Analytics, Target, or third-party systems).

• Experience with CMS concepts, including content authoring, editing, and publishing in AEM.

• Experience with agile ceremonies and managing AEM project boards/tickets.
