Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate HAZMAT Production Coordinator for Site Operations Support at Boeing Jacksonville, Florida.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting site HazMat activities.
  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions.
  • Monitors work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
  • Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
  • Works under general supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Jacksonville, FL.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with HazMat awareness.
  • 3+ years of experience with inventory management, to include inventory optimization.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using HazTrax, ARIBA, GOLDesp experience and/or similar systems knowledge (ERP/MRP systems)
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally within an 8-hour shifts.
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb, and descend stairs, bend, and lift items frequently within an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • HazMat compliance in a Boeing MRO environment.
  • Consumable materials management experience in a Boeing environment.

Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This position is for variable shift. Position will start on 1st shift and will transition to 2nd shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $39,950 - $54,050.
