Summary:
In this role, you will design and implement logistic services and solutions within hospital supply chain departments with supporting strategy development and execution of project plans. You will provide implementation support for new supply chain processes from conception, planning, design, and implementation. You will gather and compile internal and external data from qualitative and quantitative sources (e.g., systems, observations, and interviews), conduct detailed analyses to generate strategic insight and interpret information to identify saving opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Design and assemble stocking locations for hospital clean supply storage rooms based on product type and input from the hospital stakeholders to include clinicians and supply chain management.
Move continuously within hospital inventory and supply rooms, lifting, carrying, and moving supplies and materials.
Provide implementation support of savings focusing on performance targets and/or operational improvements.
Support the consulting supply chain experts in the areas of service line management, including supply chain operations, inventory management, PAR replenishment, operating room inventory flow, and process maps.
Collect data from various member source systems (e.g., patient financial, material management, decision support) to use in analysis.
Conduct analyses on supply spend, operational and/or performance improvement related data. Support work to develop request for proposals (“RFPs”) and analysis of vendor responses.
Create presentations using data and other relevant inputs (e.g., interviews) to drive an action for customer performance improvement.
Provide support to consultants and senior consultants on member engagements including research, development of presentations meeting preparation, status report preparation, issue identification and tracking/updating project budgets.
Support collaboration and integration across all Advisory Solutions services.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
No prior experience required.
Hospital Supply Chain, Inventory Management Solutions or Supply Chain Management experience desired.
Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job to includeprolonged standing and sitting, lifting (up to 25 lbs.), reaching overhead or at or below shoulder level, stooping, crouching, kneeling, climbing ramps or stairs, pushing / pulling (carts with supplies and materials.
Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple projects.
Analytical with strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
Highly organized, able to meet deadlines and quickly adapt to change.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables. This position is a remote role that requires travel Monday through Thursday to hospital site locations throughout the U.S.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $51,900.00 to $82,900.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
