What you'll do...

Principal Data Analyst, Investigative Risk and Operational Compliance

The Principal Data Analyst, IROCC is a global role providing analytics support to Ethics and Compliance subject matter experts (SMEs) by leading project initiatives to build tools and apps that proactively identify, characterize, and monitor risks in Ethics and Compliance programs across domestic and international markets. This role is located in Bentonville, Arkansas, with no remote exceptions.

Key responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Conducting exploratory data cleaning, ETL, and analysis activities (i.e., basic statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, statistical inferences).

  • Building and supporting BI dashboards that enable SMEs identify and monitor risk within their respective programs, creating the data for reporting on key performance metrics for each area of focus, and measuring the impact and effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Translating business problems and ambiguous requirements into automated, analytical, and/or mathematical solutions.

  • Drawing insights and recognizing correlations in the data, and effectively communicating results and findings to non-technical audiences in actionable, business terms.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Partnering with Ethics and Compliance stakeholders to translate challenging business problems into state-of-the-art analytics and data science solutions, developing processes and tools that enable SMEs to continuously monitor, analyze, and improve their respective programs.

  • Processing large amount of data for statistical modeling and graphical analysis, producing clear and impactful visualizations in support of complex cases, and developing custom analytics and/or models to generate insights that drive value for our customers and unlock competitive advantage for our organization.

  • Exercising good judgment, time management, and multi-tasking skills in delivering work products for multiple projects while adapting to ambiguity, shifting priorities, and changing timelines.

  • Presenting complex findings in writing and verbally to non-technical business partners and stakeholders, explaining difficult technical matters in ways that can be easily understood.

  • You have strong knowledge of mathematics, particularly statistics with a proven track record of solving problems through mathematical and deductive reasoning.

  • You have experience in data analytics and visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau, Tableau Prep, BigQuery.

  • You’re experienced with programming languages used to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets (e.g. SQL, Python, R, etc.).

  • You’re someone who can execute effectively with strong project management and organization skills; Someone who gets things done!

  • You have strong analytical skills to interpret insights coming from various initiatives and have a mindset for continuous learning and improvement.

  • You have consistently high standards, your passion for quality is inherent in everything that you do.

  • You are structured in your thought process, can approach issues objectively and pragmatically, and can break down large problems into smaller, simpler, solvable components

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
