What You’ll Work On
The Commercial Operations Manager, EP will report to the US Director of Strategic Accounts and work to operationalize new products, optimize inventory management and be a core contributor supporting the re-manufacturing program. As the EP business continue to grow and evolve, a need for a dedicated, operations-focused, team has emerged. This individual and their team will work with cross functional partners to help the US Commercial team to achieve it’s revenue, profit, and margin targets.
- Help achieve revenue, profit, and margin targets for the EP franchise in the United States.
- Partner with US Finance to refine sales forecasts based upon product availability.
- Partner with US Marketing to create executable, go-to-market business plans, and help manage limited market release programs.
- Service as liaison between US Sales Leadership and Global Operations team to communicate inventory updates and launch progress.
- Monitor and measure capital services sales and penetration rates.
- Work with Field Marketing team to understand Capital footprint and competitive position within US Sales Areas.
- Facilitate product lifecycle management of US products and updates as needed.
- Create local launch reporting including metrics and target goal achievement.
- Maintain problem solving / collaborative relationship with Marketing and Sales leadership measured by 360 feedback and observation from US Director of Strategic Accounts.
- Support IDN-GPO acceptance and approval strategies, contract analysis and positioning strategies.
- Explore and implement additional solutions to help drive strategic focus for EP team.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial management and/or sales execution roles.
- Seasoned judgment acquired through organizational experience in sales metrics analyses, financial planning, and analysis, and working with senior leadership; documented record of delivering financial information that adds value to management's decision-making process
- Experience creating metric/performance dashboards
- Experience working with complex product portfolios in the medical device industry. Experience with strategic product planning and commercial execution.
- Developed leadership skills/experience, including the ability to map task interdependencies, prioritize such tasks, and develop, monitor and live within budgets as well as the demonstrated ability to forecast major milestones.
- Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred. Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to work within a team and as a leader in a fast-paced, changing environment. Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.
- Understanding of both the technology and capabilities of the Division’s products, market and customer dynamics, and functional operations across departments.
- Additionally, the successful candidate will exhibit: Positive attitude, leadership, desire and ability to lead the organization to ensure goals achievement, deep understanding of the complexities of market and customer needs, ability to develop, rationalize, and present strategy, strong analytical and computer skills, with working knowledge of financial models, strong work ethic, self-motivation, and resourcefulness.
- Ability to travel up to 15%
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA a plus.
- Commercial Electrophysiology experience
- Experience in reprocessing/remanufacturing industry within the operating room/Cath Lab

$95,000.00 – $190,000.00
