The Senior Analyst, Corporate Accounting is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate handling of all accounting related activities including review of transaction processing, general ledger account reconciliations, preparation and approval of general ledger entries, monthly analytics and reporting activities  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations as assigned.

  • Interact with various departments to resolve general ledger reconciling items.

  • Provide policy interpretation and direct support regarding accounting issues to the business lines.

  • Prepare Regulatory and SEC disclosures.

  • Prepare special financial reports and analyses for senior management as assigned.

  • Assist with the maintenance, reporting and oversight of the Company's general ledger, general ledger reconciliation software and other analytic platforms

  • Assist in preparation of materials as part of the annual external audits and SOX testing.

  • Update procedures due to changes in process or accounting requirements

  • Identify areas in the organization with process improvement opportunities.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor`s degree (Accounting or Finance) and a minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience is required

  • Financial services industry experience preferred

  • Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to achieve results

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and others across the organization

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and other Microsoft applications is preferred

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to excel in team oriented as well as individually driven assignments

  • Ability to quickly learn and execute on new systems and processes

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000USD to $95,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
