Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Brazil is seeking Senior International Trip Planner, reporting to the International Trip Planning Manager, working out of the São Paulo office. The Senior International Trip Planner will be performs international trip planning, flight planning, customs, flight following and customer communication for multiple customers within business, government and commercial aviation in a 24x7 environment. Coordinates interactions with ground and air based aviation customers during all phases of planning and operations. Creates and disseminates complex flight plans and weather information. Relays flight sensitive and critical information. Provides logistical assistance to flight departments and flight crew. Liaises with multiple airport functions and personnel to ensure aircraft ground support. 

Position Responsibilities: 

•    Leads and performs complex trip planning and flight planning for business, government and commercial aviation. 
•    Prepares alternate plans and contingent itineraries for customer approval and selection. 
•    Verifies all plans meet applicable FAA and international rules and regulations. 
•    Acquires, distributes and interprets a wide variety of publications (e.g., navigation charts, flight manuals and other safety publications) required to ensure safe flight and to comply with governmental regulations. 
•    Identifies new requirements and acquires essential new publications. Initiates and maintains flight folders for operational trips, including posting of itinerary, requesting all applicable diplomatic clearances, ground handling, fuel, hotels, and other services as required through the Trip Planning System.
•    Assists customers in planning itineraries based on knowledge of diplomatic requirements, airport restrictions, fuel availability, range of aircraft, and political situations. 
•    Researches and references files for service agencies/vendors, fuel, and diplomatic clearance agencies and update databases as necessary.
•    Ensures strategic account profiles and preferences are identified and managed. 
•    Maintains constant contact with the principals of assigned strategic accounts. Documents and disseminates client preferences. - Provides information about the trip planning service to new and existing customers as required. 
•    Writes and tests flight plans for customers and refers them to operations for transmission.


This position is hybrid / Telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

•    Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
•    Must have a degree in accredited course of study.
•    Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
•    Ability to work a rotating shift patterns.
•    Good customer service skills.


Preferred Qualifications

•    In depth experience with International flight planning.
•    In depth experience with dispatch or pilot license. Instrument rating or other aviation certifications.
