About this role

As an Associate Service Manager, We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Scrum Master/Service Compliance Manager for our Information Security Services (ISS) team. As a Scrum Master for ISS DevOps, you will be responsible for facilitating the agile development process and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with developers which may be developing code, low code, or no code solutions. ServiceNow development will be a sizable percentage of the DevOps work and thus you will work closely with ServiceNow developers, module owners, catalog practitioners, technical architects, and the team leader to plan, execute, and review sprints. You will also monitor and report on the progress, performance, and quality of the ServiceNow development team. As the Service Compliance Manager, you will help advance ITIL principles within the ISS team. Key ServiceNow deliverables include facilitating the development of service descriptions, service catalogs, KPIs, knowledge management and service roadmaps. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage sprints by defining the scope, goals, and deliverables of each sprint, and ensuring that the developers have clear and complete descriptions of the requests. 

  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings to look ahead and look back at the sprint, and to resolve any issues or impediments that arise during the development process. 

  • Communicate and collaborate with the module owners, catalog practitioners, technical architects, and the team leader to align the expectations, requirements, and feedback of the stakeholders. 

  • Track and measure the workload, velocity, and quality of the developers, and provide regular reports and feedback to the team and to management. 

  • Lead and manage the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions for ISS. 

  • Promote and uphold the agile principles and values, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the development team. 

  • Assist Service Managers with defining and maturing their security services and practices. Help ensure the services teams have the necessary skills training. Help teams develop service catalogs and facilitate the DevOps lifecycle. Help teams define the appropriate KPIs to adequately manage their services. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or a similar role in software development, preferably in a ServiceNow environment. 

  • Overall IT experience of 7+ years 

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification. 

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations. 

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge and experience of agile methodologies, tools, and best practices. 

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse, international, and cross-functional teams. 

  • Problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. 

  • ITIL v4 certification is a plus. 

Additional notes

  • Relocation assistance is not available with this position.

  • The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones is essential.
