About the role
As a Private Bank Analyst, your role will be part of the team of Private Bank Analysts supporting our Private Bankers through value-add solutions.
Your core duties will involve undertaking financial analysis and assessing the risks/opportunities on new and existing consumer lending submissions, as well as assessing the risks associated with increases in client credit.
More specifically, you will:
Write, negotiate and manage consumer credit applications for new and existing clients
Complete credit submissions to ensure the timely delivery of decisions, documentation and funding to the client and the accuracy of information
Apply analytical skills to business problems and effectively communicate outcomes and recommendations
Deliver exceptional customer service, client communication and engagement to support credit submission requests
Undertake detailed analysis of client and industry specific information focusing on the key financial drivers of each client in order to effectively meet their need
Prepare concise and well-reasoned credit correspondence
Focus on quality, credit management and the minimising of credit and operational losses
Audit and review team files to meet credit assurance standards
Investigate credit policy framework and changes to support credit submission applications
To be successful, you will have:
Credit analysis training and demonstrated experience with the ability to support deal structuring
Ability to read and interpret complex financial statements
Advanced MS Excel skills and experience in performing financial analysis/modelling
The ability to quickly grasp consumer lending transactions and analyse the benefits of the idea of specific client circumstances
Tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline e.g. Banking, Commerce (desirable)
Sales, customer service or relationship management experience in Accounting, Finance or Banking related role (desirable)
