Let’s talk about Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC mills, EDM, wire cutters, or other metal working equipment as required according to documented procedures 

• Set up fixtures and workpieces accurately and efficiently

• Set up tools, electrodes and holders with precision

• Perform routine maintenance on machines as necessary

• Use precision measuring tools to verify the quality of machined parts

• Provide feedback for CAM revisions, giving input on manufacturing requirements

• Operate CMM to verify quality of machined parts according to specification

• Assist in continuous improvement projects by evaluating processes and make recommendations to improve productivity, quality & cost

• Perform and document pre delivery inspection processes to ensure the highest quality tooling projects are delivered safely to our clients across the globe 

• Ongoing compliance with ResMed policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

• Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

• 2-3 years’ experience operating CNC mills

• CAM knowledge advantageous

• Wire & Sinker EDM experience advantageous

• Qualifications / accreditation in Toolmaking, Machining, or Engineering would be advantageous

• Broad understanding of CNC machining & cutter technologies

• Proficient in working with Fanuc, Heindenhain, or Siemens controllers

• Strong safety awareness and commitment to safety procedures

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Basic computer ability in Microsoft office.
