Job Summary

Through an array of marketing strategies, an AAM Marketer’s responsibility is to identify agencies and agents exploring the opportunity to increase their book of business in life/health/senior market sales. Their goal is to engage with, attract, and enroll these agencies/agents through specific target markets into AAM’s downline.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Recruit Agencies/Agents to sell products involving AAM’s product lines.

  • Ability to generate leads and referrals via self-generated marketing activities.

  • Cultivate relationships with FMOs to offer value props.

  • Create and facilitate ongoing lead conversion to carrier contract appointments.

  • Utilize territorial model to maximize marketing efforts in attaining new Agency/Agent appointments.

  • Drive Agent experience and retention through AAM’s target markets, policies, and programs.

  • Forge relationships with community leaders and organizers across the service area to create event marketing opportunities.   

  • Achieve corporate recruitment goals.

  • Report on marketing and recruiting activity on a timely basis.

  • Communicate effectively in person and by phone.

  • Strictly adhere to all CMS and CSH regulations and marketing guidelines.

  • Perform special duties as assigned.

  • Have strong public speaking/presentation skills.

  • Be able to travel to present, conduct new Agency/Agent orientations, and train specialized products.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of Medicare agent recruiting.

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • Car insurance and a valid driver’s license are required for the position.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, in person and over the phone.

  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one or in groups.

  • Some travel may be required.

  • Previous sales experience (Medicare or insurance industry preferred).
