We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales operations in Eastern Slovakia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales management.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives in Eastern Slovakia
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and tactics
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess market conditions, customer needs, and team performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or a related field or Natural Sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in pharmaceutical area
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and data to form sales strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region
