Job Summary
This role supports the full life cycle of complex group insurance policies by setting up and maintaining premium billing records, applying and reconciling premium payments, and delivering high‑quality customer service to policyholders and partners. The position ensures accurate policy administration, resolves billing and policy issues, and helps maintain customer retention through frequent, service‑focused interactions. Work includes establishing new group records, processing amendments and renewals, researching discrepancies, and ensuring adherence to financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain complex group billing and premium collection records, including alternate funding arrangements.
  • Apply, track, and reconcile premium payments; research and correct discrepancies.
  • Communicate policy information, changes, and service options to policyholders, producers, TPAs, and internal partners.
  • Implement policy amendments and renewals by analyzing changes and updating system records.
  • Support retention efforts by resolving issues related to non-payment, lapses, and terminations.
Skills and Background You’ll Need
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2+ years of demonstrated Insurance customer service experience required.
  • Experience with billing, accounting principles, or premium administration.
  • Experience with group insurance billing or premium collection systems preferred.
  • Working knowledge of complex group contract provisions and billing support systems.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and related applications.
  • Ability to work remotely in Pacific time zone hours.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:

23.56 - 31.49
