We are inviting applications from enthusiastic fresh graduates to join our Compliance department at Saxo Bank Group India Pvt Ltd as an Apprentice. You will be a part of a supportive team, assisting Group Compliance and local Compliance teams with their ongoing projects.

In this role, you will learn how to help protect the organisation by

supporting monitoring activities and assisting with compliance reviews. You will have the opportunity to work closely with both Group and Local Compliance teams.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who is eager to build skills in Compliance Monitoring and Testing. As an apprentice, you will be guided to understand how our systems and processes meet regulations, laws and internal policies. You will support monitoring activities, help identify risks, and learn how to recommend actions to maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting compliance monitoring activities, including reviewing transactions, documentation, and processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

• Support the compliance team in identifying areas of non-compliance and potential risks, and participate in developing corrective action plans.

• Help maintain up-to-date records of compliance assessments, audits, and reports.

• Participate in the creation of compliance reports for internal stakeholders.

• Research and stay informed about current and upcoming regulations impacting the financial services industry.

• Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of compliance and integrity within the organization.

You can communicate clearly and take initiative when needed, while also being open to new ideas and changes.

You pay close attention to details but can also look at situations from different viewpoints, making complex issues easier to understand. Most importantly, you work well in a team, are flexible, and show your personality. You are thoughtful and reliable, and you enjoy working with clear guidelines and organized processes. You thrive when collaborating and feel confident working with both Compliance and business colleagues.

You possess the following technical skills:

• Recent graduate in finance, law, business administration, or a related field with no previous work experience

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Basic understanding of financial services regulations and compliance practices is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Completed academic projects focused on artificial intelligence, SQL and data analysis during college
