We are searching for the best talent for DATA SCIENTIST II

Purpose: Uses analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data to perform analysis. Develop data-driven solutions explicitly tailored toward the needs of the organization.

  • Understand the business problem statement and identify data sources required for modelling.

  • Perform multiple forms of advanced analyses.

  • Build, test, validate and launch advanced learning algorithms via rigorous test/control experimentation.

  • Manipulate data to create new features that could increase the accuracy of an algorithm.

  • Translate analytics insights into visualization and actionable business and product decisions.

You will be responsible for:

Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Made the proper questions to understand the business cases or problems.

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Performs other duties assigned as business needed.

In addition to previous position responsibilities, this position:

  • Collect data from multiple data sources

  • Perform exploratory Data Analysis generating, analyzing, and identifying trends and patterns from information and insights data sets to find answers to specific questions.

  • Ensures that data pipelines are scalable, repeatable, and secure, and can serve multiple users within the company.

  • Collect data requirements structured/unstructured data to create strategy together with project owner and subject matter experts.

  • Use statistical tools, software, algorithms, and automated processes that cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large data sets from multiple sources.

  • Communicate project related issues or opportunities to next management level.

  • Collaborate with project owner and data science team to identify benefits as a result of applying data analytics.

  • Collaborate with Data Science team and developers to make sure that all data solutions are consistent and adjust based on feedback.

  • Prepare reports for project team as a result of Data Science projects.

  • Codes, tests, and documents new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications for data analytics.

  • Applies descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analytics in model development and assessment.

  • Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.

  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices an d that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.

Qualifications / Requirements:

1+ years with degree in related field.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.

1-3 years of professional experience in a highly regulated industry.

Advanced English level.
