Job Summary:

Ledcor Technical Services has been building and servicing communication networks for customers across North America since 1979. We are looking to fill multiple Project Coordinator positions to support a large scale fiber-to-the-home deployment project throughout the state of Kentucky. As a Project Coordinator you will be responsible for providing a wide range of support to project teams. You will also assist the operations staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Under direction and guidance, you will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to achieve team goals throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Promotes Ledcor safety culture on the project by taking an active role in the implementation of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to achieve compliance with corporate safety manuals and all regulatory boards and authorities

  • Implements Ledcor systems and procedures at project start-up, including project billing and cost accounting system set-up, creation and maintenance of project directory, and participation in quantity takeoffs while ensuring alignment with contract documents

  • Assists with project close-out process by preparing warranty package, creating turnover documents, and assisting in site demobilization

  • Performs general document control and recordkeeping functions, including review and distribution of documentation, submittal of RFIs, and maintenance of files, logs, drawings, and specifications

  • Facilitates the tracking of project milestones and financial deadlines, assists with the creation and maintenance of the project schedule, and provides ongoing updates to project stakeholders

  • Supports the subcontractor and supplier tender and management process, reviews invoices and progress claims, and provides assistance with the change order management process by securing pricing and change order administration

Qualifications:

  • One to two years of related work experience, or a combination of relevant education and experience

  • Working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and familiarity with current construction practices

  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project stakeholders, solving problems based on established procedures

  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
