Your role

We are looking for a passionate individual who will collaborate, manage the team to perform and act as the Subject Matter Expert. You will be responsible for team decisions and will collaborate with various teams for input into these key decisions. As a Technology Architect, you will provide solutions to problems that apply to other areas of the business.

 Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce technical capabilities with a proven track record in this type of role is a must.

  • Experience with various integration patterns and approaches using Salesforce and other technologies.

  • Describe technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Provide guidance and leadership to onshore & offshore team members in areas of design and delivery.

  • Work with other project teams to coordinate, design and deliver an end-to-end solution.

  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders.

  • Estimate work for themselves and the team.

  • Work to an agreed schedule and escalate appropriately during the course of the delivery phase.

  • Determine the technical approach, direction, and implementation for a work request to ensure proper design

  • Plan and develop technical standards for service or product development teams

  • Work with application architects to define software and hardware requirements for planning and delivering architecture

  • Conduct impact analyses of technical requirements on the system

  • Lead, direct, and participate in new technology adoption

  • Communicate and resolve application interface issues

  • Run technical and design workshops to understand their business goals and challenges and technical environment.

  • Manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale.

  • Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture in a variety of forums, including Architectural Governance meetings, Internal Quality Assurance reviews and interactions with Salesforce Professional Services and other Salesforce partners.

  • Collaborate with the Functional team to determine how best to implement scalable and maintainable solution on/off platform.

  • Generate and review designs and ensure they follow best practices and meet business goals.

  • Design and build scalable and reusable frameworks. 

  • Be the key escalation point for technical and architecture issues.

  • Provide knowledge and guidance to the project team on Salesforce security best practices, integration patterns and best practices, development and coding standards.

  • Those with Master proficiency in Technology Architecture / Expert proficiency in Application Architecture will be high regarded.
