Job Description:

GENERAL SUMMARY (Describe the overall duties and responsibilities of the job)

A Material Planner/Scheduler is in charge to have the raw material parts that are needed to manufacture products to avoid stopping the production lines using all supply chain tools and options in order to achieve MP&L Objectives and KPI’s. Support programming a production plan that meets the customer requirements on time and the right quantities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES (Duties required for successful job performance)

  • Send Supplier releases.
  • Monitor supplier’s shipments.
  • Avoid production lines shutdown.
  • Assure raw material in plant in order to meet the production schedule.
  • Avoid excess of inventory or obsolete components.
  • Expedite raw material if need it.
  • Make claims for material damaged or lost in transit.
  • Generate DMN if supplier is not meeting requirements and is causing production line shutdown.
  • Assure the material is received correct in the system.
  • Support the production plan (daily and weekly)
  • Monitor the production plan (BTS)
  • Escalate issue with CSR, Production and Material manager any issue to meet the BTS.
  • Smooth customer demand.
  • Meet Inventory Targets.
  • Carry out the functions within the framework of the Internal Work Regulation, Code of conduct,
  • Regulation of Safety, Hygiene and Environment and other policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities according to the established plans.
  • All the responsibilities and follow the authority assigned according to the FTM-EHS-12 Roles, Responsibility and Authority Matrix from ISO 14001 /45001
  • Complies with policies and procedures pertaining to facility or divisional adopted standards such as IATF 16949.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE (Required occupational qualifications and other requirements)

EDUCATION

  • Obtained bachelor’s degree.
  • Fluent English (Level C1)

EXPERIENCE

Experience in automotive companies.

KNOWLEDGE

  • EPR system SAP
  • Knowledge on manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge on customs processes.
  • Knowledge on material flow
  • Knowledge on inventory control
