Associate Technical Lead/Senior Engineer - Identity Lifecycle Management

The Opportunity 

The Associate Technical Lead/Senior Engineer - Identity Lifecycle Management is an intermediate-level role focused on developing and maintaining SailPoint IIQ customizations and integrations. This position also provides QA testing support and resolves incoming support tickets, ensuring stability and reliability of identity lifecycle processes.​ This is an individual contributor role. 

​​Reporting into global IAM lifecycle development leads. This is a hybrid remote and office-based role in Sri Lanka, aligning with the local job requirement guidelines (Primary shift: [7:30 PM-3:30 AM SLST, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM CDT] with flexibility). Most work is performed Monday through Friday virtually using collaboration tools and video conferencing. Our team has occasional on-call support. ​  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • ​​Development & Enhancements: Contributing to development of SailPoint IIQ workflows and connectors 

  • ​​QA & Testing: Executing functional and regression testing of lifecycle changes 

  • ​​Support & Troubleshooting: Handling medium-complexity issues from the team’s queue and provide root cause analysis 

  • ​​Collaboration: Working with senior developers and global IAM teams to align on standards and improvements 

 

 

 

Requirements:  

  • ​​A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent practical experience 

  • ​​An advanced degree or IAM-related certifications 

  • ​​3–5 years of IAM development experience, including SailPoint IdentityIQ exposure 

  • ​Experience with Java/Beanshell and basic API integrations 

  • ​Prior experience with QA/testing processes preferred 

  • ​​Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills 

  • Should possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities 

  • ​Strong communication skills in a global team setting
