Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this role, you will be responsible for leading month‑end close and controllership activities for Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Canada. You will support Senior Managers in delivering strategic, tactical, and operational accounting and controlling objectives.
You will manage corporate books and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the corporate leaders’ financial close. Additional responsibilities include performing quarterly balance sheet reviews, annual internal control reviews (IICC/SOX), and supporting control validations and testing. You will also provide accounting guidance to local managers and partners for non‑routine transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment in accordance with corporate policies.
A key part of the position involves overseeing the work performed by an external vendor, who manages the transactional aspects of the operational accounting close. This includes supervise, guide, review, and validating the work done by the vendor providing guidelines, working instructions, and ensuring adherence to corporate accounting standards.
This position is strongly focused on controllership, governance, and ensuring consistency and compliance across multiple countries in the region.
