A Day in the Life

As a Service & Repair Customer Care Representative you will be the primary customer contact for the Service & Repair team across the entire Medtronic product ranges.

A customer care position is an excellent career choice if you enjoy problem solving, assisting people, and having a direct influence on your company's bottom line. The ideal candidate is based in Milan, and the role follows a hybrid working model, combining on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Handle administrative and clerical tasks, managing service requests, inquiries, and communication with both internal stakeholders and external customers or vendors
  • Manage complex tasks independently, taking initiative even when procedures are not fully defined.
  • Communicate daily via phone and email, collaborating with Service Engineers, workshop teams, and cross-functional departments.
  • Administer service-related systems (ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce), track orders, manage invoicing and disputes, and coordinate logistics for spare parts.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations for repairs, maintenance, and part sales.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and suggest process optimizations.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, complete required training, and follow through on all service and repair processes.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English (B2 level or above).
  • Organized and dependable, with strong coordination, follow-up, and multitasking skills.
  • Comfortable using MS Office and working independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Skilled at resolving customer concerns professionally, even under pressure.
  • Collaborative and self-motivated, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a similar environment, is familiar with systems such as SAP, ServiceNow, or Salesforce, and holds a bachelor’s degree.
