Valeo Lighting Systems
The plant produces front and rear car lights using advanced technology of metallization, assembly and plastic injection including multicomponent and multi-color injections. It also has a fully equipped measurement laboratory with a unique photometric testing tunnel. As a result of growth, Valeo Lighting Systems is currently opening a new Development Center, which focuses on developing and manufacturing lighting systems for passenger cars.

Job description:
Mission:
- Provide requested products with simultaneous proper management of cost, quality and delivery to satisfy customers;
- Manage APUnit consisting of APTeams and cooperating with all supporting functions (process, logistics, quality, procurement)
Area of responsibility:
- Organize the production unit into Autonomous Production Teams led by several supervisors, committed to the given objectives and budget, and develop a spirit of quality and efficiency based on a strong involvement of all employees, using the methods and tools of 5 axes strategy;
- Manage Customers in terms of both Quality and Delivery with an ultimate goal of overal Customer Satisfaction
- Support actively the actions and recommendations initialized by Quality Department in order to reach the shared “zero defect” target;
- Introduce development programme for all employees in the APU to achieve multi- skilled and autonomous teams and develop their progression;
- Ensure positive work climate based on the Group values of mutual aid, respect and recognition bearing in mind the strong development of the Division;
- Constantly improve production process, raise productivity, ensure people involvement;
- Initiate corrective and preventive actions.
Personel managment:
- Plan and organize work to subordinates;
- Check following control after tasks realization by: Acquaint subordinates with their job descriptions and job instructions. Acquaint employees with quality problems, complaints and notice from clients (internal, external). Acquaint subordinates with rules and safety regulations, fire protections;
- Enforcement compliance that rules by employees;
- Acquaint employees with job risk according to performed job on allocated position and the ways their limited or elimination.
- Carrying out briefing to subordinates with regulations.
- Allow to work employees which only: accordingly trained, having required qualification and needed skills, having actual medical certificate where stand lack of contraindication to work,
- Stocked with individual protection resources, clothes and work shoes.
- Organize job positions regarding regulations, rules, safety and healthy rules, in particular: organized, prepared and provided work, allowing employees protection ahead of accidents at work, job sickness and other sickness according to job conditions.
- Provide good technical state and treatment according to destination (individual/group protection things, safety equipment, barriers, safety wrappers and others protections.
- Carrying about hygiene accommodation state and cleanness on subject to part of APU.
- Ensure execution of doctor recommendations carrying about employees.
- Organize jobs according to job time and other regulations
- Ensure availability of actual Job Instructions and S&H Instructions requirements on job positions.
- Carrying about keeping secret technical information, technological, industrial and plant organizational, which leak could induce harm to the employer.
- Compliance with procedure rules definite in statute about Protection Database: keeping in secret personal data of people which are hired in company and do not pass data to other people.
Qualifications - External
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or Experience;
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in production and / or Supply Chain;
- Experience in Automotive industry is a must;
- Experience in HRM;
- Fluent English;
- Analytical skills;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills: communication, team-working, creativeness and scrupulousness;
- Professional approach to work, strong sense of responsibility, ability to cope with stress.
