JR64906 Factory Operations Manager

SIG Factory Operations Manager is responsible for the end to end planning process within Systems Integration Group. This includes analyzing demand from manufacturing sites and engineering labs, along with contract manufacturing capacity and raw material availability to provide supply/delivery commitment to customers. The position requires that you collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the overall business volatility and enable SIG’s execution to maximize Micron revenue through actionable plans and deliverables. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Customer Relationships

  • Ensure a strong working relationship with customers. Provide timely updates on delivery of products.

Demand Signal

  • Analyze demand signals and provide supply response.
  • Product team member
  • Participate to be familiar with products and ensure products will be available on-time. Understand transition of product from NPI to HVM.

Quoting

  • Respond to request for quotes submitted via SEEK.

Order Processing

  • Process forecasted sales orders in SAP timely and correctly based on site demand signals.

Contract Manufacturing Portals

  • Respond to customer forecast ship dates and ship notifications for billing purposes. Acknowledge customer purchase orders. Attend customer meetings as needed. Obtain subcontractor packing slips and coordinate SAP goods receipt and shipping transactions.

RMA Management

  • Engage with RMA team and Procurement to ensure returned material is processed appropriately and replacements sent to customers as needed.

Manual Debits and Credits

  • Work with Finance to ensure accurate billing/adjustments.

Support SIG Product Life Management

  • New product design decision analysis
  • TOR transition
  • EOL transition

Requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in related field of studies
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years of working experience in semiconductor industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • SAP and Excel knowledge are preferable
