About Civil Construction Field Systems (CCFS)

For public agencies and large civil enterprises, CCFS standardizes workflows across mixed equipment fleets, automates regulatory compliance, and ensures all contractors work from the same engineering design. By collecting continuous, real-time data on machine movements and material volumes, the system reduces costly errors and streamlines progress verification before capital is paid out.
 

What Makes This Role Great:
 

In this role, you will be the key interface with the customer, responsible for building and executing a comprehensive regional business plan and carrying a defined sales target. You will have the unique opportunity to showcase industry-shaping Trimble technology directly to infrastructure giants and governmental bodies. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will drive business development and distribution networks while positioning yourself for long-term success with an innovative global leader.
 

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Sales Plan Development & Execution: Take accountability for developing sales plans and achieving defined growth goals for key product lines, including Machine Control and Guidance, Site Surveying, and Design Software.

  • Channel & Distribution Management: Provide hands-on coaching, clear direction, and specific guidance to our distribution network to ensure market penetration.

  • Pipeline Generation & Customer Engagement: Work directly with customers and distributors to build a robust sales pipeline across construction, survey, and infrastructure segments.

  • Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Prepare accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts for your product lines and systematically maintain the sales pipeline.

  • Technology Showcasing: Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and presentations at industry events, bridging clients' field requirements with Trimble’s technical offerings. (Regional travel of 50%–75% is expected).
     

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years of sales management experience specifically within the Construction industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue and managing key accounts.

  • Education: BE/BS degree in an engineering and/or business development field. In lieu of an unrelated academic background, deep and direct industry experience will be strongly considered.

  • Technical & Workflow Aptitude: Working knowledge of surveying workflows, market segmentation, and specialized software applications.

  • Core Competencies: Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency to plan, execute, and engage customers on high-value solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
     

Bonus Points For:

  • Advanced Education: Post-Graduation in a Marketing stream.

  • Geographic Expertise: Proven track record of managing key accounts with major infrastructure clients across North and East India.

  • Government Sales Lifecycle: Extensive experience managing end-to-end sales lifecycles, tendering processes, and technical approvals with central government bodies such as NHAI, MoRTH, and Inland Waterways networks.

  • Channel Architecture: Extensive distribution network and multiple-channel management experience.

  • Travel Requirement: 50%–75% Regional Travel
