Summary: A Shopify Architect designs and implements solutions using the Shopify platform. They are responsible for creating and maintaining e-commerce websites that meet the business requirements and objectives. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Solution Design: a Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements. b Design scalable and efficient e-commerce solutions using the Shopify platform. c Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams. 2. Development: a Implement and customize Shopify themes and templates. b Develop custom Shopify apps and features as needed. c Ensure the integration of third-party applications and APIs. 3. Optimization: a Perform code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices. b Optimize website performance, ensuring fast page load times and a smooth user experience. c Stay updated on the latest Shopify features and updates. 4. Collaboration: a Work closely with front-end and back-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders. b Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and successful project delivery. 5. Quality Assurance: a Conduct testing to ensure the functionality, usability, and security of Shopify solutions. b Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. Professional & Technical Skills: - Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or Architect. - In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform, Liquid programming language, and APIs. - Strong proficiency in Vue.js, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket, Git). - Familiarity with e-commerce best practices and industry trends. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in eCommerce websites design & implementation and possess deep understanding of the Shopify platform, e-commerce best practices, and a proven track record of successful Shopify implementations. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful Shopify eCommerce solutions.
