As a Sr. Analyst Guest Engagement for the Loyalty team, you will contribute in delivering upon the Circle Guest Engagement strategies. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to plan and activate seamless Circle engagement rewards and experiences plans.

In this role you will collaborate with both external & internal to Target stakeholders. Navigation would be key as including but not limited to following teams have to be aligned for most activations: Marketing, measurement, Finance, Legal, PPCOE, Data Sciences, Merchant, Roundel, Finance, Product and other Partner teams.

  • Aid Decision making for leadership - Help evaluate partnerships involves research and benchmarking.
  • Navigate through multiple stakeholders/dept/teams to onboard Partners.
  • Define the terms of engagement – by ensuring it’s in service of Program Ambition and deliver upon those with guest at the center.
  • Design campaigns to drive awareness, comprehension, and utilization of loyalty at Target.
  • Build A/B tests for guest learnings to ensure the opportunities and optimization of current financial and marketing plans.
  • Monitor results and communicate to stakeholders on necessary actions to achieve goals.
  • Create/Adjust processes to ensure adherence to scalable and repeatable best practices to support product and business.
  • Represent and drive loyalty integration within key company strategies, including major seasonal events, and strategic initiatives
  • Lead projects that span multiple teams within marketing, Finance, Legal, operations, PPCOE, Merchants, Product, Digital, Stores, & Data Sciences +more

To achieve these outcomes, your role will need to engage in the following activities:

  • Lead with the guest
  • Creating compelling guest and business cases to support the engagement strategy in fulfillment of Target Circle Strategy
  • Maintain daily interaction with key stakeholder to ensure success of Target Circle
  • Build strong, trusted relationships through regular collaboration with both External and Internal Partner teams. (PPCOE Strategy, Marketing Loyalty, Finance, and Merchandising DMMs, Stores, Digital Partners technology teams, including product owners, engineers, and data sciences analytics teams)
  • Report and develop weekly action plans on KPI results and on drivers of variance
  • Analyze root cause using both internal and external reporting tools and drive strategy adjustments as required
  • Deliver guest and financial metrics in support of Target Circle

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • MBA in Marketing would be desirable.
  •  5+ years related work experience (strategic partnerships experience would be a plus)
  • Strong financial acumen for both retail and cost accounting metrics
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets in Excel, SSAS financial data manipulation. Know-how of basic forecasting techniques.
