The Role

As the Security & Asset Protection Coordinator, you will ensure the protection of people, assets, information, and infrastructure across two Clarios Mexico plants. You will lead the administration of the Security Management System, oversee security personnel and external providers, coordinate corporate audits, and ensure compliance with programs such as CTPAT, OEA, and CASCEM. Through risk analysis, vulnerability assessments, and continuous improvement, you will support internal clients and safeguard operational integrity.

What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)

  • Implement, supervise, and continuously improve procedures within the Security Management System across both plants.
  • Coordinate and lead compliance efforts for CTPAT, OEA, CASCEM, including hosting CBP visits.
  • Manage and evaluate the performance of in‑house and contracted security staff.
  • Conduct recruitment processes, interviews, training, and development programs for security personnel.
  • Perform risk and vulnerability analyses following ISO 31000 and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure execution and follow‑up of internal and external audit action plans.
  • Manage and operate security technology systems: CCTV, access control, GPS, and asset inventories.
  • Lead or support investigations related to security incidents and damage to company assets.
  • Develop and deliver awareness programs and training in patrimonial security.
  • Prepare the annual departmental budget aligned with Finance requirements.
  • Protect confidentiality of sensitive information (employees, suppliers, visitors).
  • Represent the security function in internal committees.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, innovation, and certification projects.
  • Support crisis management and emergency response activities.
  • Meet monthly patrimonial security objectives and KPIs.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

Applicable Majors

  • Criminology
  • Law
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Or a related field

Experience & Technical Knowledge

  • 5–7 years in Asset Protection or Corporate Security.
  • Security management systems: CTPAT, OEA, CASCEM, ISO 28000.
  • Physical & patrimonial security.
  • Security personnel administration.
  • Investigations and incident analysis.
  • Vulnerability analysis (ISO 31000).
  • Knowledge of CCTV, access control, GPS, and security system administration.

Languages

  • Intermediate English (50%)
