Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Java Engineer to join our Site Reliability team. As a production support engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the reliability and performance of our system. The ideal candidate will have experience in Java backend development, JSP, PL SQL, Shell Scripting, and AWS services such as EC2 and CloudWatch. Knowledge of Opensearch, Prometheus/Grafana, and basic Linux for log analysis is essential. Experience with the Oracle Web Center Site (WCS) and Web Center Content (WCC) is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Address and resolve daily issues related to Oracle Web Center Site (WCS) and Web Center Content (WCC).
  • Develop and document a comprehensive understanding of the system by collaborating with existing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Analyze issue trends, identify root causes, and implement solutions that provide a significant return on investment.
  • Bring forth innovative ideas and suggestions to the engineering manager and technical program manager.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of the Content Management System.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must Have:

  • Experience in Java backend development.
  • Proficiency in JSP, PL SQL, and Shell Scripting.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2 and CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of Opensearch, Prometheus/Grafana, and basic Linux for log analysis.
  • Quick learner with a proactive and action-oriented approach.

Optional but Preferable:

  • Experience with Content Management Systems, specifically Oracle Web Center Site (WCS) and Web Center Content (WCC).
