About the team:
Core Technology (CT) is a distributed team responsible for the end-to-end eBay technology platform. This platform runs our entire infrastructure and all the services that come together to form ebay.com. We are a world leader in mobile commerce and directly impact the lives of a global population. Our iOS apps, with millions of daily active users, facilitate billions in commerce transactions and are the entry point for an increasing number of new customers.
Our tightly knit team enjoys working on large-scale ambitious and interesting problems. We work in small focused, collaborative project teams following an agile methodology. Multi-functional teams including product management, product development, and User Experience Design (UXD) work daily to create a successful product that delights our customers. About the Role:
eBay's is looking for an iOS Engineer who is passionate about creating apps consumers love. What you will accomplish:
Designing/giving functional and technical direction to a solution
Test-driven development (TDD)/Behavior Driven Development (BDD), clean code, software craftsmanship
Testing at all levels (unit, integration, UI and acceptance)
Refactoring to enhance testability and re-usability
Continuous delivery and integration
Identify project risks, quantify risk/benefit relationships
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in Computer Science or related major and 1-2 years of mobile development experience
Experience in iOS, Swift, Objective-C, and XCode as well as familiarity with the integration of network services
Knowledge of GraphQL, REST is helpful
Knows about Async/Await, concurrency, combine, UIkit, SwiftUI and various iOS development frameworks essential for Mobile Application development
Full stack development experience is a bonus
