 Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Analyst Applications to EAM India -CAT IT Division.

The incumbent would Function as a member of the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) team within the Enterprise Asset Management IT organization. The individual in this role will work collaboratively with asset class owners to address business challenges by designing and implementing process improvements and governance enhancements, utilizing automation to enhance asset visibility and reporting capabilities. Additionally, this position leads and contributes to various projects alongside HAM colleagues, business stakeholders, and IT partners.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN, Whitefield Office

What you will do

  • Establish and nurture relationships with asset class owners to identify and prioritize business challenges, while providing support with inquiries, requests, and asset data concerns.
  • Lead the development and execution of overarching concepts, architectural frameworks, and proposals aimed at improving asset visibility, governance, and management by addressing operational challenges, audit findings, and financial or security risks.
  • Deliver expert guidance on asset management framework principles and their implementation across multiple asset classes.
  • Utilize established industry asset management frameworks to support the creation or improvement of organization-wide governance policies.
  • Offer strategic guidance, specialized expertise, and recommendations to IT staff, leadership, and project teams on challenging elements of asset management.
  • Contribute as a team member or subject matter expert to asset management processes or initiatives aimed at enhancing governance.
  • Provide mentorship to HAM analysts, encouraging professional development, accountability, and a high standard of technical proficiency
  • Conduct independent assessments and improvements of processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize operational efficiency, foster innovation, and reduce waste.
  • Lead efforts to automate and unify asset lifecycle processes across various platforms.
  • Evaluate asset data to pinpoint deficiencies, analyze patterns, and identify opportunities for quality enhancement.
  • Provide support for urgent IT issues outside of regular hours or on weekends when required

What you will have.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in asset management, desktop or server administration, or similar technical roles.
  • 2+ years of team leader experience, with a proven ability to guide and develop high-performing teams.
  • Hardware Asset Management, IT Asset Management, ServiceNow CMDB, Asset Governance, Asset Architect,
  • Capable of advancing initiatives independently, even with minimal information or guidance from leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to tailor messaging strategies to diverse audiences
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for streamlined data export, analysis, and reporting
  • Skilled in creating advanced SQL queries for application in an IT Data Lake environment
  • Flexible work schedule; requires local afternoon and evening hours to match US time zon 
  • This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.
  • Shift Timing: 01:00PM-10:00PM IST

  • Proven leadership in managing projects utilizing either waterfall or agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging technology to streamline business processes
  • In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, with emphasis on CMDB functionality
