Overview

As a strategic partner, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner creates and executes talent and human capital plans that help drive business outcomes. You will serve as a consultant to leadership, assessing and anticipating human capital related opportunities, advocating for teams, and supporting change initiatives across the business. You will also build partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added services that reflect the business objectives of the organization. You will focus on organizational effectiveness and design to better enable the performance of the business. To effectively support this organization, the Sr. HRBP must maintain a high level of business acumen including the organization’s financial position, strategic plans, culture and competition.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

  • Effectively balances business partner responsibility with employee advocacy and builds a positive employee relations culture and work environment

  • Acts as a change agent/leader and culture steward

  • Develops and implements plans and actions to improve employee engagement and manager effectiveness and foster inclusion

  • Supports leaders as a strategist, coach, and facilitator

  • Ensures that performance is managed and rewards are distributed based on demonstrated performance

  • Owns the development and implementation of all HR strategies for assigned client groups

  • Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of complex projects

  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

  • Recommends new practices, processes, metrics or models

  • Assists with recruiting activities to support key hires and works with recruiting on executing workforce planning and critical hiring for client groups

  • Participates in outreach activities with community organizations and for team building initiatives

  • Serves as strategic business partner with leaders in client groups to identify opportunities, develop solutions and strategies to ensure results and positive business impacts

  • Collaborates with leaders in all areas of HR, including Leadership & Organizational Development, Compensation, Employee Relations, Diversity & Inclusion, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, etc., to drive various initiatives throughout the organization to meet the business needs

  • Builds management bench strength by providing coaching, support and consultative skills to employee-related business challenges

  • Oversees execution of the performance management process, succession planning, 360 programs, etc., for client group

  • Supports business in organizational change efforts; acts as a change agent/leader and culture steward

  • Supports Employee Relations with respect to complex issues and investigations

  • Strategic thought partner to leaders and has a business focused mindset to help translate business objectives to human capital strategies

  • Strong understanding of the organization's business strategies and dynamically changing external business competition, conditions and overall landscape. Incorporate this knowledge into appropriate management and HR initiatives

  • Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies

Experience:

  • 8+ Years of HR experience with multiple client groups in multiple geographic locations

  • Ability to work in fast paced and constantly changing environment


Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • PHR or SHRM-CP required, SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
