Calloway Corporation is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 22 countries across the US, Caribbean, Central and South America. We are seeking to recruit a passionate, skilled, and highly motivated individual to join the team in the capacity of Finance Assistant. This role offers an opportunity to support our Catering and all other entities.

As the Finance Assistant you will be responsible for completing the necessary clerical work for accurate accounting practices.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Daily invoicing based on the delivery sheet and daily balancing and posting of the sales in the general ledger.
  • Keep all accounts up to date with the respective men update.
  • Verify receipt of bills/billing procedures.
  • Posting of Payments
  • Handles all relevant queries from internal and external customers and ensures that departmental service standards are met and surpassed.
  • Prepares all periodic and ad hoc reports within agreed quality and delivery standards, ensuring both timeliness and accuracy.
  • Provides associated administrative and other support to supervisor and team, towards the attainment of departmental goals and objectives.

ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position
  • At least 2 years of work experience working in a team.
  • Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
  • Quality focus—the individual looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
