What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Relationship Manager Global Business, you will manage a portfolio of Global Business clients and identify acquisition and expansion opportunities to increase volume and revenue growth.  You will use a mix of interpersonal skills (communication, presentation, negotiation, discretion) and business acumen to win new business and manage your portfolio of sophisticated clients requiring integrated solutions including everyday banking, complex borrowing, wealth management, payment, foreign exchange and cash management services.  You will also execute effective client discovery to identify target solutions for Global Business client’s in particular new accounts, credit cards and letters of credit. 

What will you do?

  • Demonstrate to your client an understanding of Global Business which can take two forms as a joint venture or wholly owned subsidiary, engaging in international trade or investment
  • Look for ways to differentiate the client experience with timely advice, relevant to the unique characteristics of a Global Business with integrated needs
  • Ensure that client's contact information is updated on core banking systems at every client interaction to ensure timeliness and accuracy of their data to enable the delivery of an exceptional client experience as clients choose how they wish to interact with us
  • Respond to your client requests quickly and reliably and take every opportunity to ensure that previously sold banking solutions continue to operate smoothly
  • Nurture and grow long term profitable relationships, execute client relationship plans and pre-contact plan for successful client meetings
  • Look for opportunities to add value including introducing Centers of Influence and delivering advice through Hearsay
  • Use Corporate memory (documented details of client interactions, sales, referrals, pipeline opportunities) to prepare for client discovery and to enable continuity of client service
  • Use your knowledge of the client to analyze and interpret client needs and to proactively offer relevant client solutions

What do you need to succeed?          

Must-have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Banking or a related field
  • 3 years’ experience in Banking Service and Operations
  • Strong Customer Service and Sales Skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • High degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Self-Starter and Ability to multi-task
