YOUR ROLE

As an EDI Analyst, you will manage and support the electronic exchange of critical business documents—including Material Releases, Purchase Orders, Invoices, and Advance Ship Notices (ASNs)—between the company and its trading partners. This role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT systems, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant data flow across SAP and EDI platforms in a fast-paced, automotive-focused environment.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain daily EDI transactions to ensure accurate and timely data exchange with trading partners.
  • Configure, map, and support EDI documents such as Material Releases, POs, Invoices, and ASNs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EDI transmission errors, data inconsistencies, and integration issues across systems.
  • Coordinate EDI onboarding for new trading partners, including testing, validation, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing) to align EDI processes with business requirements.
  • Support SAP modules (MM, FI, SD, PP) ensuring correct data integration and transaction flow.
  • Analyze and manage data using Oracle databases and SQL to support reporting, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Develop or support scripts and automation using Python or similar programming languages.
  • Contribute to data modeling, data warehousing, and visualization initiatives using BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve EDI performance, data accuracy, and system reliability.
  • Document EDI processes, mappings, and technical specifications as needed

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP analytics and data management, with hands-on exposure to SAP MM, FI, SD, and PP modules.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Databases and SQL.
  • Experience with Python or a similar programming language.
  • Familiarity with EDI systems and integration processes.
  • Experience working with automotive suppliers strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau).
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, ERP systems, databases, and analytical tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • SAP certifications are a plus.
