Briefly about your team

Our team is primarily responsible for Sandvik’s financial reporting and consolidation system, and we aim to successfully supply process and information owners with methods, tools, and guidance for efficient financial processes. Welcome to a competent and supportive team with a genuine team spirit.

About your job

You contribute to the development of our financial reporting and consolidation system OneStream – taking part in system related projects and assignments. The focus going forward is to take OneStream to the next level, improving performance and functionalities to further streamline the closing and reporting processes at Sandvik. You’re a key person in this digitalization journey.

Included in your job description:

• Handling and implementing business requirements, recommending proper system alternatives and improvements.
• Providing support and problem solving for all our business areas and users worldwide.
• Planning and preparation of our systems for monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting.
• Actively sharing your knowledge by training and supporting colleagues and stakeholders.
• Keep yourself updated on OneStream system capabilities.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with stakeholders within Sandvik.
   

The location for this position is our headquarters at World Trade Center in Stockholm.

You’re the service-minded and analytical problem-solver who sees challenges as opportunities, and with your flexible can-do approach, you work systematically and thoroughly. You understand the demands and challenges of finance and bring fresh ideas for improvements and increasing the quality of our processes. In addition, you like working independently and show a high degree of self-motivation, and you agree when we state that teamwork and sharing knowledge is key!

What you bring to the team:

• Knowledge of financial system processes in an international corporate finance function.
• An understanding of the importance of planning, accounting, controlling, consolidation and management reporting.
• Experience of being the connection between finance and IT in a similar role.
• Proven experience of financial reporting and consolidation systems, including design, development, evaluation and testing. Specific experience with OneStream is a plus.
• A sincere interest in technology-driven innovations and services within finance.
• Ability to understand and analyze code, e.g. VB.NET, C# or other.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Power BI.
• Excellent English skills, verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
