Job Description:

Permanent, Full Time | Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane

Help shape care without the hospital trek.

St Vincent’s Health Australia is bringing care home. Through our Care at Home portfolio, we are reshaping how care is delivered — extending hospitalgrade, chronic and ageing care beyond our walls and into communities, homes and virtual settings that meets people where they are.

Our Care at Home portfolio is scaling rapidly, enabling 24/7 connected care, smarter systems and care that feels more personal, more compassionate and more human. We’re looking for a Clinical Governance Business Partner to help ensure this care is safe, highquality, equitable and ready to scale — so clinicians can do less admin and more good, and people can receive care wherever love lives: at home.

The Opportunity

As a member of the Office of the National Chief Medical Officer, you will partner with clinical, digital and operational leaders to embed contemporary clinical governance across virtual, community and homebased care. You’ll bring governance to life — enabling innovation, supporting clinicians, and ensuring safety, quality and clinical excellence as care models evolve maintaining clinical excellence. This is not a traditional governance role. It’s about making safe innovation possible.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and embed clinical governance, quality and risk frameworks across virtual and homebased care
  • Partner with clinical and digital teams to support safe, scalable models of care
  • Enable effective integration of technology into care delivery
  • Monitor and report on quality, safety and risk, supporting proactive escalation
  • Work across acute, community and aged care services to ensure alignment
  • Champion personcentred care and a better endtoend experience for consumers

About You

You’re a trusted governance leader who thrives in complexity and believes the future of care extends beyond hospital walls.

You bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in clinical quality, safety and risk

  • Senior leadership experience in complex healthcare environments

  • A clinical background (nursing, allied health or similar)

  • Strong influencing skills and a collaborative, enabling approach

  • Experience adopting traditional clinical governance models to innovative services

Experience in virtual care, digital health or hospitalinthehome models is highly regarded.

Why St Vincent’s?

You’ll love where health is heading.

At St Vincent’s, we’re combining the power of technology with the humanity of our people — building a system that gives:

  • People more choice, connection and care at home
  • Clinicians more time to care, connect and share their expertise
  • Our teams new opportunities to grow, lead and innovate

You’ll also access notforprofit salary packaging, wellbeing supports, development opportunities and the chance to shape care at national scale.

Ready to Help Bring Care Home?

If you’re excited by digitally enabled care, motivated by purpose and ready to help shape a better, fairer system, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply with your CV and cover letter. Applications may close early.
