This position has primary responsibility for directing and oversight of the staff who provide mental health and support services to clients and their families. The Clinical Supervisor may have their own caseload in addition to oversight responsibilities. S/he acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. This position participates in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and revision of the clinical treatment program. The Clinical Supervisor represents the agency to county agencies and the community. S/he meets with clients, provides direct care and treatment, and may be involved in the client grievance process. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for facility management. This position has the responsibility of and provides direct clinical supervision of BBS licensed staff, insuring services are in accordance to BBS standards and signs-off on BBS hours.

The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24/7 basis in an unlocked setting with a stay of up to 23 hours
Rapid mental health assessment and crisis intervention
All age groups – children, adolescents, adults, and older adults – who need immediate access to crisis mental health services.
The center provides important services to those in need of immediate crisis intervention and stabilization
Individuals admitted into the crisis stabilization unit will be provided with support and services to ensure their safe transition to the next level of care or back to the community.
