Description:

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist responsible for delivering high‑quality support and service delivery across a broad range of infrastructure and technology solutions. This role focuses heavily on customer interaction, incident resolution, system monitoring, and technical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has strong communication abilities, proven technical expertise, and the capacity to perform effectively in high‑pressure environments.

Responsibilities

Customer Support & Service Delivery

  • Provide customers with clear overviews of installation activities, site‑specific requirements, and primary points of contact.

  • Address customer‑relation issues promptly, professionally, and in accordance with escalation procedures.

  • Deliver software service support across pre‑sales, post‑sales, and service delivery stages.

  • Support large enterprise or complex accounts requiring customized service delivery.

  • Participate in on‑site customer meetings (internal and external) to support service needs and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Manage complex customer issues, ensuring timely updates and resolution.

Technical Support

  • Provide hands‑on technical support across infrastructure services and supported technologies.

  • Perform proactive monitoring using established tools to identify system issues and prevent downtime.

  • Respond to incidents, assist in troubleshooting, and contribute to root‑cause documentation.

  • Support infrastructure‑related tasks and small projects under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, including incident logs, service notes, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Follow established technical standards, support procedures, and change‑management practices.

Technology Domains Supported

  • Servers, storage, mainframe, and datacenter technologies

  • Networks, Active Directory, and enterprise applications (e.g., SAP Basis)

  • Public and private cloud environments

  • Operating systems (Linux, UNIX, Windows)

  • Databases, middleware, containers, and collaboration tools

  • End‑User Services and device management

  • Technical Service Desk and Field Services operations

Education & Experience

  • Vocational/Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in a technical field with 3–5 years of relevant experience, OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience.

  • Prior experience supporting a full range of company products and technologies within a customer environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in infrastructure or technical support analysis.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of corporate policies, products, and support processes.

  • Proficient Field Technical Support skill set with knowledge of administrative and technical practices.

  • Familiarity with hardware platforms, networking concepts, and supported operating systems.

  • Understanding of high‑availability environments and system reliability principles.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Skill in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • Ability to manage complex technical issues under pressure.

  • Proficiency in problem‑solving, analysis, scheduling, and documentation.

  • Strong teamwork orientation and consistent performance in service delivery fundamentals.

  • Understanding of service portfolio offerings and best practices in change management.

  • Continuous learner who stays current with industry trends and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (preferred but not required).

  • Relevant industry certifications, such as:

    • CompTIA Security+

    • Cisco CCENT

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect

    • Or other technical support–related certifications.
