Position Summary

The Sr Mgr, Agile Practice Management is a leader with the Enterprise Delivery team responsible for tracking all components of the budget for assigned P&Ls / Portfolios / Business Units, and then providing detailed reports to different audiences to inform budgetary accuracy, spend against budgets, and opportunities and risks.  You will be part of a team taking accountability for a significant portion of the DDAT budget and work in partnership with finance team members, executives, and senior leaders.  

 

The successful candidate will possess broad business acumen in addition to the theoretical and practical application of program management and financial tracking principles.  Thoroughness and attention to detail will be paramount, to ensure that various financial and project metrics are used consistently and deviations from budget are identified early.  Outstanding partnership management and communication skills with all levels of management through senior leadership are essential, as is the ability to influence across the enterprise.

 

Responsibilities

  • Tracking financials for all aspects of IT budgets for a segment.
  • Tracking program performance at various levels including Portfolio, Business Unit, and Master Project and calculating metrics such as total budget, and capital/operating expenses, with views highlighting budget and forecast variances.
  • Empowering teams and stakeholders with information to support effective project management and strategic business decisions.
  • Developing and best-in-class tools and processes for reporting on and managing budgets and rolling these practices out to partnered team leaders.
  • Developing reports and visibility to create transparency between teams, leadership, and business partners.
  • Improving predictability by identifying trends through enhanced financial data.
  • Enable proactive identification of risks and opportunities using data.

 

Job Requirements

  • Ability to align, manage, and track change across multiple programs and manage multimillion dollar budgets.
  • Operate in a global, highly complex and fast changing environment.
  • Lead by adopting organizational change and managing change throughout the organization.
  • Provide trusted consultancy leadership to the business

 

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading program management efforts within large, complex environments.
  • Expert with spreadsheets using MS Excel and programming using Power Query, Power BI, and related tools.
  • Experience with both project management and financial / budgeting roles.
  • Experience managing a team and working effectively and efficiently in a highly-matrixed global organization.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing large-scale project implementations from start to finish.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer related field or finance field.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $236,900.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
