General Accountant – 6-Month Contract

(Remote - Philippines)

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a passionate, analytically minded individual to join our rapidly growing organization.

This role will have hands on duties and play a key part in bolstering the finance department.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Manage reconciliations, A/P, A/R, collections, journal entries, and maintain accurate ledgers
• Aid with Month-End and Year-End Close: Prepare schedules, tie out balance sheets, and deliver timely, error-free reporting.
• Accruals: Record adjusting entries, prepaids, and accruals accurately and consistently.
• Process Improvement: Identify automation opportunities and suggest workflow enhancements.

 

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
• High proficiency in NetSuite.
• Accounting accreditation or equivalent (or in progress).
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-sufficient; you take ownership and ask great questions.

Requirements:

40 per week. 9am – 5pm EST

Compensation:

~ $1,200 CAD per month
