About the Role

On the Operations Business Solutions team, we provide a range of support services to our policyholders, employees, agents, and other distribution partners. We help maintain AIA’s daily operations and technology platforms, handle customer inquiries, and maintain a growth strategy that supports the business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for insurance operational support, transformation and digitization, and applications projects. Specifically, this role is broken up into the following support initiatives
  • Providing support to the planning of department initiatives including allocating resources, identifying potential risks, and setting up expected deliverables
  • Supervising dynamic project team members to work the full cycle of execution to ensure smooth and timely project delivery while also providing motivational support and important training/mentorship
  • This role will also require you to monitor the project process, encourage and support project team members to promote closer working relationships, manage knowledge transfer, share potential challenges, and to coordinate efforts to overcome difficult or time-consuming issues
  • In addition to team support, your work will include monitoring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements as well as organizing and monitoring periodic audits as needed
  • Another Important role you’ll play within the department will include interacting with end users to validate business requirements and user stories
  • There’s also an exciting opportunity for you to monitor our overseas operation service team’s work efficiency and quality, which may include on-site business visits
  • If the job involves regulated activities, you may be required to obtain a relevant license

Requirements:

  • University degree with a minimum 5 years of experience working as a business analyst or project manager in the Insurance or financial services domain
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills; able to motivate, coach, monitor project progress status
  • Excellent command of spoken/written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Accountable with a strong sense of customer centricity
