How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? 

Job Description Summary: The Business Process Manager serves as a crucial liaison between Sales, Operations, and Administrative functions, providing comprehensive account management support for Airgas' business operations. This role encompasses managing customer contract administration and financial oversight while supporting Business Directors and Business Development Managers (BDMs). Key responsibilities include facilitating new account setups, contract management, pricing optimization, and billing support.

  • Collaborate with Business Directors and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to drive sales outreach and strategy.

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of sales presentations and proposals.

  • Work closely with Operations to align on project timelines and resource allocation.

  • Liaise with the Billing Group to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processes.

  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable and Credit Team to manage customer credit assessments.

  • Engage with the Legal department for compliance and contractual agreements.

  • Create and validate new sold-to accounts in the system, ensuring accuracy of information for billing and service delivery.

  • Obtain and verify tax-exempt certificates necessary for eligible customers, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

  • Provide necessary Airgas Nitrogen Services documentation to facilitate account setup and service initiation.

  • Assist in the comprehensive account setup process, including system entry and documentation requirements.

  • Manage and review Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to ensure clarity and compliance with company standards.

  • Maintain and update customer pricing tools to ensure accuracy in pricing structures, manage list pricing tables and conduct regular reviews to optimize pricing strategies.

  • Generate sales and margin analysis reports to provide insights into business performance,  produce usage reports in collaboration with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as well performance service reports tracking key metrics.

  • Prepare comprehensive business reviews to inform strategy and decision-making.

  • Monitor BDM growth goals, focusing on Growth Targets, Organic Growth, and New Customer Growth.

  • Complete and maintain all sales-related paperwork for record-keeping and compliance and submit detailed customer job summaries, ensuring all relevant information is captured.

  • Prepare mid-month reports to evaluate ongoing performance and process expense reports to manage departmental spending.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 7-10 years of business office experience with demonstrated knowledge of  accounting, billing and business system processes.

  • Prior experience with SAP, Oracle and/or Salesforce CRM

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree in a related field preferred

  • Familiarity with Construction, Chemical and Refining, or related Services Business is highly preferred.
