The Job
We are looking for a creative manager for WBD Kids and Family channels. Responsible for writing, producing and delivering promotional materials that creatively and effectively promote our brands: Cartoon Network, Cartoonito and Discovery Kids. Based in Mexico

The Daily – Major Activities

  • Create promotional materials (from concept to final delivery) including: program launches, episodic promotions, teasers, trailers, character profiles, etc. for all of our channels
  • Bring continues new creative ideas for internal proposals to new campaigns for our brands target
  •  Adapt and supervise scripts as required (english - spanish)
  • Deeply understand the DNA of our shows, select clips and request material for editors
  • Responsible for delivering the accurate information about promos
  • Develop marketing strategies with disruptive and creative ideas.
  • Supervise visual narratives in the editing room. Constant communication between producers and editors.
  • Translate the marketing strategies into our targets language. Able to create a hip hop song, funny rhymes or even memes from our content.

The Essentials

  • High creative mind, hands on teamwork player
  • Excellent communication skills (grammar and spelling)
  • Minimum five years of experience as a writer/producer in children television
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively under changing priorities and daily time constraints

The Nice to Haves

  • Basic portuguese speaker.
  • Screenwriting skills. Deep understanding in narratives (conflicts, resolutions, set ups, pay offs, etc) and available to deliver high quality promos.
  • Filmmaking narrative skills.
  • Script doctor skills. Available to read and give feedback to scripts and proposals for new series / promos.
  • Capability to adapt to new teams around the region
  • Easygoing and flexible person
