Team/Role Overview

Through managing the day-to-day procurement activities, Citi’s Central Sourcing Team plays a pivotal role in supporting Citi’s mission.

Central Sourcing Team is set up for effectively and safely transacting high volume, low risk, low to medium complexity projects linked primarily to contract renewals, amendments and terminations.

The Sourcing Operations Analyst in Central Sourcing is responsible for participating in procurement activities related to the execution of sourcing and contracting transactions in a productive, efficient, and high-quality manner; these activities include, defining the need for goods and services, negotiating price contracts and contracting activities such as contract document drafting, maintenance, and administration.

What you’ll do

The overall objective is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's businesses.

  • Participate in the sourcing process for the various products and services within the sourcing team.
  • Perform Sourcing activities with attention to mitigating risk by driving standard process, procedures and controls while ensuring Risk & Control Audit readiness.
  • Manage projects related to contracting processes, ensuring proper document maintenance and administration.
  • Facilitate sourcing process and assist cross-functional team in developing and executing sourcing strategies, supplier management strategies, and contract negotiations including drafting and red-lining contracts.
  • Support all aspects of sourcing and contract processes including strategy, negotiation, contract approval, execution, contract extension, amendment, and termination.
  • Liaise with sourcing team, legal, internal customers, and suppliers to meet audit guidelines and adhere to Citi processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with strict risk and control procedures throughout the contract management process.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop efficient end-to-end contract management processes.

What we’ll need from you

  • Min. 3 years employment in multinational / shared service environment OR 5 years regardless of the field
  • Min. 1-year experiences in Sourcing/Procurement and/or Supplier Contract Management - proficiency in using contract management tools and software.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, French language knowledge is an advantage
  • Intermediate command of MS Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, fostering positive working relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in contract management processes.
