The Sales Executive position is responsible for selling DXC Insurance Software and BPS capabilities to current Insurance clients and acquiring new logos. The job requires a results-driven seller that achieves advisory sales success in highly competitive markets for complex deals. Extensive experience in developing executive-level relationships and partnering with clients and stakeholders is required. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Executive (SE) proactively builds relationships and understands business goals of assigned clients.
  • The SE initiates a high volume of client facing meetings for the purpose of advancing sales goals.
  • The SE continually qualifies opportunities to ensure that DXC invests in the right opportunities.
  • The Sales Executive leads pursuit teams in developing and substantiating a winning value proposition that meets the needs of the customer, including analyzing critical business drivers and risks.
  • The SE collaborates with the solution teams, delivery groups, and partners to assure that client’s interests are incorporated into the solution and an effective value proposition is created.
  • The SE manages the deal, developing a deal timeline that ensures the pursuit team meets deal milestones and deadlines.
  • The SE uses client drivers and critical success factors to advance and close the deal.

Key Requirements:               

  • Ten or more years of complex sales experience ( I.e. multi-million-dollar, quota carrying sales roles or equivalent background)
  • Significant relationships with Top 20 global and U.S. Insurance carriers
  • In-depth experience in the sector, specific commercial and specialty insurance industry relationships, and customer knowledge
  • Understanding the drivers and challenges facing global insurance brokers
  • Highly developed consultative approach, solution selling, and business development skills
  • Strong influencing and communication skills and ability to work at the CXO level
  • Strong communication skills needed to interface with high-level customer representatives
  • Strong strategic management and planning skills
  • Leadership skills in directing pursuit teams
  • Ability to translate understanding of client business and needs into company service offerings to improve client's business
  • Ability and willingness to prospect
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment
  • Ability to operate effectively in a virtual environment
  • Ability to cope with very high peak workloads, travel, short deadlines, and significant pressure
  • Able to negotiate deals selling value
  • Ability to publicly represent company with internal and external clients
  • Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution
  • Ability to understand and identify with client business and its corresponding business conditions

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $132,500 - $275,300.
