Position: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duties: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features for the Spark Driver iOS app. Develop app UI and Service components and improvements. Provide feature estimates and suggestions. Ensure seamless integration with server-side components and web services. Collaborate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality, performance, and best practices within the iOS development team. Assist the product and support teams in diagnosing and addressing any operational issues identified in the mobile application. Attend and participate in planning, stand-ups, and internal product demos.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
Skills required: Experience with Swift and Rx Swift including architecting and implementing complex, user-centered applications. Experience with foundation and UIKit frameworks for user interfaces and seamless interactions. Experience working with Git for version control, Jenkins for CI/CD and Jira for project management. Experience with iOS SDK and Core Data API. Experience analyzing trade-offs between design and implementation options to articulate solution strategies and the technical complexities linked with each. Experience with backend services, the network application layer including RESTful APIs. Experience trouble shooting, defining, and implementing unit tests. Experience with Rx (Reactive programming) concepts dealing with big user interaction and data flow within the application. Experience with computer architectures including multi-threading using GCD or Operation Queue. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $123,297/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
