The Senior Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation service lines across the enterprise. This role develops and implements quality management protocols, and drives changes in policies, facilities, equipment, and programs to achieve Institute and Hospital objectives. You will demonstrate clinical expertise in the evaluation and treatment of patients, maintaining and continuously advancing clinical skills.
A caregiver in this position works days, 8:00am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Work directly with Institute and Hospital leadership to set priorities and execute all strategic business initiatives for therapy service product lines throughout the Enterprise.
Focus on the goal of enabling high quality patient outcomes, differentiates the program in the market, increases volumes and market share, and creates efficiencies.
Work with leaders to look for opportunities to create protocols, standardizes processes and coordinate services throughout the continuum of care that result in positive clinical, financial outcomes and high patient satisfaction.
Serve as the central point person on all internal and external rehabilitation and post-acute initiatives.
Lead Enterprise-wide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation staff in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for rehabilitation clinical practice.
Develop site manager skill set that allows for efficient management of assigned office.
Lead staffing levels and capacity; is proactive in recruitment and retention initiatives to ensure availability of staff.
Develop and lead plans and implementation of new patient care.
Plan, prepare and lead implementation of approved budget and financial management activities

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Doctorate – (DPT, MBA or MHA)
Licensed/registered to practice Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech Pathologist in the State of Ohio
10 years of therapy managerial experience and demonstrated understanding and support of the product line and matrix concept related to health care delivery
Experience in the specific management functions of post-acute care, finance, reimbursement, strategic planning and marketing of health care programs OSHA requirements

Physical Requirements:
Performance of job duties requires sitting and walking at varying intervals throughout the 8-hour shift.
Manual Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) considerations all employees are required to be aware of all MSDS considerations for this position which identifies all items in their particular area that fall into this category
Personal Protective Equipment:
All employees ae required to know and demonstrate competency in all OSHA requirements for the position such as the use of personal protective barrier equipment and procedures, handling of hazardous materials, etc.
